Our acrylic (PMMA, polymethyl methacrylate) rod extruder is a plastic molding machine specifically designed for continuously processing PMMA granular raw materials into rod-shaped products through a "melt-extrusion-shaping" process. Continuous production mode increases capacity by 3-5 times compared to traditional casting processes (intermittent production). A single small machine can achieve a daily capacity of 500kg-1 ton, while large machines can reach 3-5 tons. High Dimensional Accuracy: Outer diameter tolerance can be controlled within ±0.1-0.3mm, and length tolerance within ±1mm, far superior to casting processes (±1-2mm), meeting high-precision assembly requirements.
Excellent Surface and Transparency: Precise temperature control and optimized mold flow channels result in a smooth, scratch-free, bubble-free, and crystal-point-free finished product surface with a light transmittance ≥92% (close to PMMA raw material itself), suitable for direct use in transparent parts applications.
Uniform Performance: Thorough mixing and melting by the screw ensures uniform distribution of raw material molecular chains, resulting in consistent mechanical properties such as hardness, toughness, and weather resistance in the rods, without localized brittleness or deformation.

Scrap and waste generated during extrusion can be directly crushed and recycled, with a recycling rate of ≥90%. PMMA has good thermal stability, and secondary processing has minimal impact on product quality. Low raw material loss rate (≤5%) reduces raw material costs by 20%-30% compared to manual processing or casting.

4. Flexible specifications to meet diverse needs
Can produce rods with diameters from 3mm to 200mm (up to 500mm on some large-scale equipment) and arbitrary lengths (fixed length/unlimited length). Specifications can be quickly switched by changing the mold. Supports customized production: Can process acrylic rods with special functions such as colored, frosted, fluorescent, fiber-reinforced, and flame-retardant finishes to meet the personalized needs of different fields such as decoration, industry, and medical.
